Beit Furik, Palestine

Beit Furik

The entrance to Beit Furik winds through fields and olive groves, emphasising the importance of agriculture to this town. There is also a large amount of development work going on as the town looks to expand and improve. The three incredibly stunning private homes visible from the main road upon entering the town are clear evidence of this.

Beit Furik is located just 9km southeast of the large city of Nablus. During the 19th century and mid-20th century Beit Furik was the largest supplier of lime to the Nabulsi soap industry based in Nablus.
