Rafat, Palestine

Rafat

Rafat is a village on the up, near the larger town of Salfit. The abundance of palm trees make it a pleasant, attractive place, as does the motley collection of old stone buildings. It is 33km southwest of Nablus.

The 2007 census put the population at 1,861, but residents suggest that the true number is already closer to 3,500.
