Deir Ghazala

Nestled comfortably between farmland and olive groves, Deir Ghazala is a quiet village in Palestine’s luscious green north. From the village centre there are spectacular views of the governorate capital Jenin, 9km away.

There are a small number of shops keeping residents ticking over, as well as a well on the outskirts which supplies water to the community and surrounding villages.

The Deir Ghazala Women’s Club, founded in 1997, provides training courses and workshops to help empower local women.
